| CC&V currently controls over 85% of the patented claims within the district and 100% of the land within the year-end 2006 Total Mineral Resource. All gold ore reserves and mineral resources are stated at 100% ownership basis, although portions of the ore reserves are subject to third party royalties which vary according to individual agreements with the underlying property owner. |

CC&V is situated south-west of Colorado Springs in the state of Colorado in the United
States.

Cresson mine is a low-cost, open-pit mining operation which treats the ore mined by means of a heap-leach pad, which is one of the largest in the world. Production began here in 1994.

|
The district of Cripple Creek is centred on an intensely altered alkaline, tertiary-aged, diatremevolcanic, intrusive complex, approximately circular in shape covering 18.4 square kilometres, surrounded by older Precambrian rocks. The Precambrian rocks consist of biotite gneiss, granodiorite and quartz monzonite intrusions which were is in turn intruded by the 1 GA Pikes Peak granite.
