Appointment of Chief Operating Officer

Arian Silver Corporation (“Arian” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Graham Tye as Chief Operating Officer (COO) effective 1st February 2008.

Graham, a Spanish speaker, is a mining engineer with over 25 years’ of international mining experience in both underground and surface mining operations, and a fellow of various professional organisations. He has experience of operating mines in South America as well as specialising in feasibility study assessments, mine optimisation; management, design and planning.

Arian’s Chief Executive Officer, Jim Williams, stated, “Graham brings a wealth of practical, technical and strategic experience to Arian during this important phase of company growth and will be instrumental in the advancement of Arian’s core properties with the ultimate goal of bringing one of our projects into production during 2009.”
