Aurcana Appoints Lenic Rodriguez President and CEO
The Board of Directors of Aurcana Corporation has appointed Mr. Lenic Rodriguez as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective immediately.

Mr. Rodriguez is a Mexican businessman residing in Vancouver and has been a Director of Aurcana since December 2006 when the Company embarked on its strategy of acquiring and developing advanced stage projects in Mexico. Mr. Rodriguez holds a BA in Business Administration and a Masters degree in Systems from one of Mexico's top universities.

Aurcana further advises that Mr. Ken Booth has resigned as President and CEO but will remain as a Director and adviser to the Company.
