Phase 2 Resource Expansion Drilling Commences at Tepal

- Geologix Explorations Inc. (TSX: GIX) (the "Company") is pleased announce the commencement of the next phase of resource expansion and exploration drilling at the Tepal gold-copper project in Michoac�n State, Mexico.

Two diamond drill rigs have been mobilized to the project and have commenced a proposed 10,000 metre resource expansion and exploration drill program designed to test the limits of the mineralization recently encountered at the Tizate zone, which remains open in several directions, specifically to the northeast and at depth. The later stages of this program will then follow up with in-fill drilling required to bring the newly delineated Tizate zone into inferred and indicated categories.

In late 2010 Geologix drilled a total of fourteen holes in the Tizate Zone. The assay results from the first three holes were announced in a press release dated December 16, 2010. The balance of the 2010 Tizate zone drill results are expected to be released shortly.
