LONGUEUIL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Oct 1, 2014) - Further to its May 29, 2014 news release, Highland Copper Company Inc. (TSX VENTURE:HI) announces that AMCI and Highland are working towards completion of a 50-50 joint venture under which Highland would contribute all of its rights and interests in mineral projects in Michigan and AMCI would contribute US$45 million. AMCI and Highland are aiming to conclude the joint venture as soon as possible and AMCI making its contribution no later than December 15, 2014.
