Assaying was carried out by Techni-Lab SGB Abitibi and was performed using fire assay with an atomic absorption finish. Metallic sieve was used on re assays of high grade.
The wholly owned O'Brien-Kewagama project is located in the Malartic/Cadillac mining camp and consists of 36 claims (729 hectares). The prolific Cadillac Break traverses the entire center of the property over a length of approximately 4 km. The property is located on strike approximately 5000 meters west of the Lapa gold Mine (Agnico-Eagle) and approximately 4000 meters south east of Agnico's Laronde Mine.
The gold discovery in hole #6 is contained within a porphyry intrusive located within the Cadillac Break, is open to the east, and is on strike with gold mineralization encountered at the old Kewagama Mine, located over 300 meters west.
The 2011 drill program (10 holes – 3050 meters), was carried out over a strike length of 1150 meters clearly demonstrating the continuity of the gold mineralization.
Located immediately to the west and on strike with the 2011 drill setups, a resource of 218,540 ounces of gold (NI 43-101 Scott Wilson Roscoe Postle report 2007) is present in zone 36.
500 meters west of zone 36, we find the past producing O'Brien Gold Mine (590,000 ounces production @ 15.2g/t 1933-1956) which reached a depth of 3450 feet. Little exploration has been carried out on the property west of the O'Brien Mine workings.
In 2004 two reconnaissance drill holes (300 meters and 600 meters east of discovery hole #6) were done near the eastern boundary of the project. Both encountered gold mineralization and anomalous gold values to vertical depths exceeding 500 meters (2.1 g/t over 1.0 m, 6.7 g/t over 0.5 m, 0.4 g/t over 19.15m) demonstrating continuity at depth of gold mineralization of the property.
The company is presently planning its follow up drill program.
Future drill targets include follow up drilling of the 2011 drillholes, the gold bearing porphyry intrusive discovered in 2004 south of the Cadillac Break, the gold mineralized formation to the north, the unexplored eastern and western portions of the project, and of course the depth extensions.
