ValGold's field programs in Guyana have resulted in the discovery of several large gold, copper/nickel/platinum group metals, and uranium anomalies. The most prospective of these anomalies are currently being worked and advanced to the drill stage. At the its Garrison Gold Project near Timmins, Ontario, a new NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate stands at some 246,540 ounces Inferred and 63,200 ounces Indicated. The report recommends additional underground exploration to expand and upgrade the resources, and to investigate the potential for a bulk tonnage, open-pit operation on a separate, nearby, area with multiple zones of gold mineralization.
