PERTH, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwired - Aug. 26, 2013) - IMX Resources Limited (News - Market indicators)(TSX:IXR)(TSX:IXR.WT) ('IMX' or the 'Company') wishes to advise that Mr Stephen Hunt has tendered his resignation as a non-executive director of the Company, effective 22 August 2013.
The IMX board of directors (the 'Board') acknowledge the valuable contribution made by Stephen during his tenure as a non-executive director since 2007.
IMX's Chairman, Mr John Nitschke commented: "Stephen has played an important role in the development of the Company's Cairn Hill magnetite-copper mine which produces 1.8 million tonnes of ore per year and in positioning the Company for future growth in South Australia, in particular with our Mt Woods Magnetite Project. The Board is grateful for Stephen's contribution and wishes him well in his future endeavours."
The Board has commenced the process of identifying a suitable replacement for Stephen.
