Commencement of drilling
Yallalong Antimony and Mt Short Base Metals Projects
The Company is pleased to announce that a drilling program is starting on the Yallalong Antimony Project on Monday 30 November 2015.
The drill program at Yallalong is expected to comprise between 600 and 1500 metres of reverse circulation ('RC') drilling on holes averaging about 100 metres depth. A strong 300 metre long soil and rock-chip geochemical anomaly will be tested by this program. An EIS (Exploration Incentive Grant) of up to $150,000 is available to subsidise the cost of this drill program.
Upon completion of the RC program at Yallalong the RC drill rig will move to the Mt Short Base Metals Project to drill three pre-collar holes each of about 100 metres depth. A follow-up program of Diamond drilling with a separate dedicated Diamond drill rig will subsequently drill extensions to the pre- collars. About 500 metres of Diamond drilling is expected.
The EM targets being drilled at Mt Short will test part of a prospective 8 kilometre long zone of lead, zinc and copper bedrock anomalism. Previous drilling indicates prospectivity for sedimentary and mafic volcanic rock hosted Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide ('VMS') mineralisation.
