Trade Bloom Holdings Limited ("Trade Bloom"), of Flats M & N, 1st Floor, Kaiser Estate, Phase III, 11 Hok Yuen Street, Hunghom Kowloon, Hong Kong, a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of Continental Holdings Limited, today announced pursuant to National Instrument 62-103 The Early Warning System and Related Take-Over Bid and Insider Reporting Issues that on March 30, 2011, Trade Bloom acquired ownership and control of 5,384,527 common shares (the "MMS Shares") of Macarthur Minerals Limited (the "Company"). The MMS Shares were acquired by Trade Bloom from MinMetals Mining Corporation Limited and Famous Key Holdings Limited pursuant to two separate purchase and sale agreements both dated June 3, 2010.
As a result of this acquisition, Trade Bloom owns a total of 5,384,527 MMS Shares representing approximately 12.05% of the total number of MMS Shares currently issued and outstanding.
Trade Bloom's acquisition was made for investment purposes. Trade Bloom may or may not, in the future, acquire ownership and control over additional securities of the Company for investment purposes.
Other than as described above, neither Trade Bloom nor any of its affiliates (including the Continental Holdings Limited) is currently a party to any agreement in respect of the acquisition, holding, disposition or voting of any securities of the Company.
