LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - July 30, 2009) - African Copper Plc (AIM:ACU)(BOTSWANA:AFRICAN COPPER) -

At today's AGM, to be held at 11.00 a.m., the board will give a short update presentation.

The presentation will summarise the successful recapitalisation of African Copper after an investment of $41m by Zambian Copper Investments, which will allow African Copper to recommence operations on its attractive multi-asset Botswanan copper portfolio in the near future.
