Vancouver, British Columbia - April 26, 2016: Aguila American Gold Limited ('Aguila' or the 'Company') (TSX-V: AGL) Mr. John Huguet, President and CEO, announces the granting of stock options to directors, officers and employees of the Company for the purchase of up to 765,000 shares, at a price of $0.05 per share, for a period of three years.

The Company has negotiated a one year extension for a bridge loan received from an arm's length party. The loan was advanced approximately one year ago and a one year extension has been negotiated. As compensation for this extension the Company has, subject to regulatory approval, agreed to issue a warrant to purchase 400,000 shares at a price of $0.05 per share for a period of one year.
