TORONTO (AP) _ Alamos Gold Inc. (AGI) on Thursday reported a loss of $33.4 million in its third quarter.
The Toronto-based company said it had a loss of 13 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 10 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 7 cents per share.
The gold mining company posted revenue of $103.6 million in the period.
The company's shares closed at $3.27. A year ago, they were trading at $7.04.
