TORONTO (AP) _ Alamos Gold Inc. (AGI) on Thursday reported a loss of $4.7 million in its fourth quarter. The Toronto-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent per share. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions and non-recurring costs, came to 4 cents per share. The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 5 cents per share. The gold mining company posted revenue of $161.7 million in the period. For the year, the company reported net income of $26.6 million, or 9 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $542.8 million. Alamos Gold shares have decreased 18 percent since the beginning of the year.
