DEVENS, Mass. (AP) _ American Superconductor Corp. (AMSC) on Thursday reported a loss of $25.4 million in its fiscal second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Devens, Massachusetts-based company said it had a loss of 31 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs and restructuring costs, were 14 cents per share.
The wind turbine component maker posted revenue of $12.5 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in December, American Superconductor expects its per-share earnings to be 13 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $18 million to $20 million for the fiscal third quarter.
The company's shares closed at $1.33. A year ago, they were trading at $2.02.
