Constellation Energy and Baltimore Gas and Electric Company Announce Key Finance Leadership Appointments
BALTIMORE, Nov 21, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Constellation Energy (NYSE:CEG) and Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE) today announced key appointments within their respective finance leadership teams to streamline their finance organizations and provide enhanced financial management capabilities. Effective immediately, the following individuals will report directly to Jack Thayer, senior vice president and chief financial officer, Constellation Energy, in these new roles:
- Reese K. Feuerman, currently vice president, controller and chief accounting officer, assumes the role of vice president, chief accounting officer and treasurer of Constellation Energy. Feuerman will also assume responsibility for the financial planning and analysis function for Constellation Energy.
- Bryan P. Wright, currently vice president and controller of Constellation Energy subsidiary Constellation Energy Resources (CER), has been named vice president and controller of Constellation Energy.
- Kevin W. Hadlock, currently vice president, investor relations and financial planning and analysis, Constellation Energy, has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer of BGE.
Additionally, Christopher J. Budzynski, currently assistant treasurer, capital markets of Constellation Energy, will assume the position of vice president and treasurer of BGE, reporting jointly to Feuerman and Hadlock.

Feuerman joined Constellation Energy in October 2002 as vice president and controller and assumed the additional role of chief accounting officer in August 2007. Prior to joining Constellation Energy, Feuerman was vice president and controller for XO Communications. He began his career with KPMG in 1987 and joined MCI in 1994. Feuerman received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1987 and is a certified public accountant in the state of Maryland. He is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Wright was named vice president and controller of CER in 2007, where he was responsible for all of CER's accounting and financial reporting functions. He formerly held the positions of vice president and assistant controller of Constellation Energy Commodities Group and director of accounting policy and control for Constellation Energy. Prior to joining Constellation Energy in 2003, Wright was a manager of financial reporting for Allegheny Energy, Inc. and also previously held financial management positions in the financial services industry. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, concentrating in accounting, from Shippensburg University in 1988 and is a certified public accountant in the state of Maryland. In addition, he received his Master of Business Administration degree from Mount St. Mary's University in 1997 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Hadlock joined Constellation Energy in October 2004 as director, investor relations. He was appointed vice president, investor relations and financial planning and analysis in August 2007. Before joining Constellation Energy, Hadlock held several financial positions at General Motors in the New York Treasurer's Office, gaining broad experience in international treasury management, equity and debt capital markets, pension funding and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. He began his career with Morgan Stanley in New York as a credit analyst. Hadlock earned his master's degree in business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University.
Budzynski was named Constellation Energy's assistant treasurer, capital markets in July 2007, where he led capital markets activity, managed rating agency relationships and directed other treasury-related analysis. He formerly held a director position in corporate strategy with responsibility for merger and acquisition due diligence, integration management and strategic analysis. Prior to joining Constellation Energy in 2002, Budzynski was a sell-side equity analyst for Legg Mason. He earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from Bloomsburg University and is a graduate of the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.
