Nayarit Gold Inc. Announces Appointment of National Media Associates

Nayarit Gold Inc. (NYG.TSX-V) is pleased to announce that it has retained t he Los Angeles area firm of National Media Associates ("NMA") to conduct me dia awareness and investor relations programs on behalf of the Company. Hea ded by Mr. George Duggan, NMA is a long-term media-relations specialist in the natural resource and gold exploration sectors.

The Company will pay NMA a monthly fee of US$5,000 for a one-year term, and may renew the agreement by mutual consent. Pursuant to the agreement, Nay arit will also grant 100,000 incentive stock options to NMA, exercisable at a price of C$0.80, subject to regulatory approval. The options vest as to 25% every three months and are outstanding for a period equal to the lesse r of 30 days after termination and August 1, 2012. Mr. Duggan owns or cont rols 25,000 shares of Nayarit Gold.

Nayarit Gold also announces the grant of 50,000 options to a director exerc isable at $0.90 per share expiring on August 1, 2012.
