Gabriel Resources Announces Appointment of New Chief Executive Officer
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 25, 2010) - Gabriel Resources Ltd. (TSX:GBU) announces the appointment of Jonathan Henry as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective June 7, 2010. The Company is also pleased to announce that Mr. Henry will also be appointed to the Board of Directors effective June 1st, 2010. Mr. Henry is a seasoned mining executive with a track record of success in building a strong precious metals mining and development franchise, most recently as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Avocet Mining PLC, a UK based gold company with operations and advanced development and exploration projects in West Africa and South East Asia.
