(TSX-V: BRG) is pleased to announce that Denis Hayes of Kelowna British Columbia has been elected President and Chief Executive Office of the company by the board of directors. Mr. Hayes replaces Mr. Grant Hall who stepped down as president and CEO today.

Mr. Hayes has spent a large part of the last number of years in Africa and most recently in East Africa, specifically Tanzania and Mozambique. Mr. Hayes brought to Brigadier Gold the idea to follow up on the due diligence work preformed by the Mozambique Gold technical team and to work towards the acquisition of one or more of the precious metals properties they identified. Out of the many properties reviewed, Brigadier will be concentrating its efforts on those with the evidentiary potential to become major precious metals mines.

Mr. Hayes has served as an officer and as a director of several public and private mineral exploration companies.   Over his many years in the industry, first as an investment banker, and then as a private entrepreneur,  Denis has raised many millions of dollars for exploration and development projects , and in fact was integral in Brigadier Gold?s most recent financing.
