Acero-Martin Announces New Appointments To Its Management and Operations Team

We are pleased to announce new appointments to our Management team.
Mr. Ralph Stricklen B.Sc. (Metallurgical Engineering) has joined our team as Vice President of Mine Development and Mr. Cary Pothorin B.Sc., P.Geo has been appointed Vice President of Exploration.
Ralph and Cary are accomplished mining professionals and have over 40 years of experience between them. While Ralph will be focused on leading the development of an initial gold mining operation at Pinaya, Cary will be guiding the extensive exploration program on the property.
They will be busy in the upcoming months.
Currently, there are two drilling rigs on site with a third set to arrive in June. In parallel to the drilling, development work for an initial gold operation has already begun with environmental, social-economic, metallurgical, and preliminary economic assessment studies currently in progress.

ACERO-MARTIN ANNOUNCES NEW APPOINTMENTS TO ITS MANAGEMENT AND OPERATIONS TEAM
Acero-Martin Exploration Inc. (the “Company”)is pleased to announce that Mr. Ralph Stricklen has joined the Company as Vice President, Mine Development and Mr. Cary Pothorin has been appointed Vice President, Exploration.
Ralph Stricklen: Vice President, Mine Development
Ralph Stricklen B.Sc. (Metallurgical Eng.) has more than 30 years of mine development and project management experience, 12 of which were spent in Peru. Most recently, he was project manager for a smelter rationalization program at Inco Limited’s Thompson Smelter in Manitoba, Canada. He has held similar project management and mine development positions at other major mining companies including HudBay Minerals Inc. and Southern Peru Copper.
Mr. Stricklen brings extensive development, process engineering and operation expertise to the Company. His primary role will be to lead the development of an initial open-pit gold operation at Pinaya.

Cary Pothorin: Vice President, Exploration
Cary Pothorin, B.Sc., P. Geo brings more than 16 years of experience in the exploration industry, 8 of which were spent in South America. Since 2005, Mr. Pothorin has been working on the Pinaya project as project manager. Mr. Pothorin has extensive experience in the exploration and development of porphyry copper-gold deposits and was instrumental in the evaluation of the Mount Milligan gold-copper project in central British Columbia. Mr. Pothorin has worked in Canada, Australia, and South America on precious and base metal exploration projects ranging from grassroots to operating mine sites. His experience includes positions at Corriente Resources Inc., North American Metals Corp., Homestake Mining and Development Corp., and Kennecott Canada Inc. Cary is a professional geologist registered with APEGBC and holds a B.Sc Degree with a specialization in geology from the University of Alberta.

Former VP of Exploration Jeffrey Reeder will continue as a Director of the Company. Mr. Reeder was instrumental in the acquisition of Pinaya and recognition of the mineral potential thereon.
