ENDEAVOUR MINING CAPITAL ANNOUNCES PROPOSED NAME CHANGE AND NEW WEBSITE

June 9, 2008

George Town, June 9, 2008, Endeavour Mining Capital Corp. (�Endeavour� or the �Corporation�) announces that, effective immediately, it will be carrying on business under the business name �Endeavour Financial�.

In connection with the adoption of the Endeavour Financial business name, the Corporation intends to formally change its name to �Endeavour Financial Corporation�, and will seek shareholder approval for this change at a special meeting of its shareholder scheduled for July 16, 2008.

As an integrated resource merchant bank, the Corporation�s primary activities are providing advisory services and making capital investments. The Corporation has provided its advisory services under the �Endeavour Financial� name, while its capital investments have been transacted under the �Endeavour Mining Capital� name.

Neil Woodyer, CEO, stated, �Operating under one name is the natural evolution of the integration of our advisory and capital businesses. �Endeavour Financial� is the principal name under which Endeavour transacts business and attracts new clients and this name holds strong brand recognition and better reflects the current and future activities of the business. We further believe the use of one business name for both our advisory and capital investment activities will enhance the visibility of our business integration for potential clients and shareholders.�

The Corporation is also pleased to announce that it has launched a new corporate website, which can be found at www.endeavourfinancial.com.

The Corporation offers a unique combination of financial and intellectual capital to help build companies and create shareholder value.
