OZ Minerals is pleased to announce the recruitment of senior executives as part of the corporate office relocation to Adelaide.

Chief Financial Officer – Luke Anderson Luke joins OZ Minerals from Unimin Corporation in the United States, a subsidiary of SCR-Sibelco NV based in Belgium, where in the most recent 12 months he held the role of CEO and President, with accountability for all operational and functional areas of the North American business. Unimin Corporation is one of the world’s leading producers of industrial minerals with operations covering mining, processing and sales & marketing. Responsible for over 2,500 employees and turnover in excess of US$1 billion, Luke was also a member of the executive committee of parent company Sibelco.
Luke has extensive financial and development experience working in the mining industry both in Australia and the US, with over 20 years’ experience in natural resources including ten years at Normandy Mining.
With a strong commitment to safety and significant experience in corporate development and acquisitions, tax, treasury, accounting, sales & marketing, and IT, Luke will have responsibility for all aspects of financial accounting, reporting and analysis, tax, treasury, procurement, IT, and sales & marketing at OZ Minerals and will be a member of the executive committee.
Head of Corporate Affairs – Damon Hunt Damon will join OZ Minerals from Santos where he currently holds the role of Group Executive of Public Affairs. Damon has a strong background in both internal and external communications, community engagement, government relations and reputation management.
Over a 20 year career Damon has worked for listed entities, communications consultancies and the federal government, with experience gained in Australia and at an international level. Having initially commenced his career in the Australian Government, Damon progressed to the UK where he worked across corporate and advisory. At OZ Minerals, Damon will be able to leverage his significant relationships with local and national media and government. He will have responsibility for investor, media and government relations in addition to responsibility for all internal communications. Damon will also be a member of the executive committee.
Head of Human Resources – Mark Rankmore Mark joins OZ Minerals as an established Human Resources leader with significant experience gained within diverse global organisations operating within the resources, engineering, industrial services and transport & logistics sectors.
Over a 15 year career Mark has held senior Human Resources roles with ASX listed organisations including Forge Group, UGL and Asciano Limited.
As OZ Minerals embarks on new ways of working as part of our modern mining company strategy, Mark’s extensive experience in leading change and partnering with key stakeholders on people related matters will be invaluable. At OZ Minerals, Mark will have responsibility for all aspects of the Human Resources function and will also be a member of the executive committee. |
