VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 30, 2013) - Superior Mining International Corporation (News - Market indicators) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the results from the December 2012 soil geochemistry program at the Redcastle Project, in West Australia.

A total of 319 soil samples were collected on a 200m by 200m grid pattern over most of the project area (24km²). The last 2km² to the northern boundary were not sampled due to a layer of transported overburden masking the area. This area will be tested later with shallow drilling.

A total of 35 duplicates and standards were inserted for quality control (QAQC procedure). The duplicates and standards were inserted every 20^th sample interval. Samples were transported to Genalysis Laboratories in Kalgoorlie for preparation and then transported to the Perth laboratory for analysis of gold with a 1ppb detection limit.

Results (Appendix 1) indicate the background threshold is 2ppb. There are several anomalous results above this threshold:

• The most significant result received is 102ppb gold supported by 11ppb some 280m to southeast. These two values straddle a NW-trending porphyry dyke up to 100m wide and 500m long (Appendix 2). Porphyries are well known in the area to contain gold mineralization.
   
• There are two lower order gold anomalies. The first is a 11ppb gold anomaly located in the southeastern corner of the tenement (claim) block. This is supported by a 5ppb gold anomaly 200m to the east. The second is a 13ppb gold anomaly that lies near a SSW-trending quartz vein that maybe trend towards an abandoned shaft some 600m to the SSW.
   
• Other weak anomalies, ranging from 5 to 8ppb, are scattered through the southern half of the tenement block. Many are associated with metal detector scrapings for alluvial gold.

A follow-up soil geochemistry sampling is planned on a 25m by 25m grid pattern over the 110ppb gold anomaly. Additional soil geochemistry will be completed on a 50m by 50m grid pattern over the lower order anomalies.
