VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 16, 2011) - Prominex Resource Corp. (News - Market indicators) announces the re-election of all management nominees as directors at the Company's Annual General Meeting held in Vancouver, BC on May 13th, 2011. Grant Thornton, Chartered Accountants of St. John's, NL were reappointed as the auditor and all resolutions on the agenda were ratified. The directors appointed Gordon Barron as president and CEO and Mr. Allan Innes CGA will serve as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Corporate Secretary. 

The Audit Committee comprises Chairman Dr. David Stirling and members Mr. Gordon MacNiel and Ms. Liliana Hartwig. The Compensation Committee comprises Chairman, Mr. Gordon MacNiel and members Dr. David Stirling and Ms. Liliana Hartwig.
