Announcement

APPENDIX 3B – ISSUE OF UNLISTED OPTIONS

 

The Company recently announced the securing of a further US$20 million in debt financing from Barclays Capital (“Barclays”). This additional debt is under the same terms as the initial funding provided by Barclays.

 

Further, rather than pay the customary banking fees associated with such a transaction, the Company has agreed to issue 400,000 Unlisted Options subject to vesting conditions over three years.

 

The exercise price of the Options was set at a 5% premium to the 20 day Volume Weighted Average Share Price prior to the 7th of December and are exercisable at A$2.81 on or before 1 February 2011.

 

The issue of these Options preserves the cash resources of the Company and demonstrates Barclays’ long term support for the Munali Nickel Project.

Albidon produces nickel, palladium, copper and platinum in Zambia, develops uranium in Zambia.

Its main asset in production is MUNALI in Zambia, its main asset in development is GWABE (CHIRUNDU) in Zambia and its main exploration properties are LUWUMBU and SONGEA in Tanzania, LUANO VALLEY, CHISEBUKA, KARIBA VALLEY JV, NJAME and CHIRUNDU JV in Zambia, SELEBI-PHIKWE in Botswana and HAFFOUZ and NEFZA in Tunisia.

Albidon is listed in Australia and in United Kingdom. Its market capitalisation is AU$ 19.5 millions as of today (US$ 12.5 millions, € 11.8 millions).

Its stock quote reached its highest recent level on May 30, 2008 at AU$ 5.10, and its lowest recent point on March 13, 2009 at AU$ 0.03.
