Thermal Energy Appoints Director of Global Corporate Accounts and Hires Export Development Manager

OTTAWA, Oct. 10, 2012 /CNW/ - Thermal Energy International Inc. (TSXV: TMG), a leading provider of custom energy efficiency and emission reduction technologies for energy intensive industries and institutions worldwide, today announced that it has named Grant Bailey as its Director of Global Corporate Accounts, and has hired David Webb as Export Development Manager. In his new role, Mr. Bailey will leverage his exemplary corporate sales record in Thermal Energy's key UK market to build an international corporate sales presence.  Mr. Webb will be responsible for developing Thermal Energy's distribution footprint in Europe and around the world, through expansion, training and supporting new distribution partners.

Mr. Bailey has been with Thermal Energy International for over 8 years. During this time he has played an instrumental role in establishing a corporate relationship with a multinational pharmaceutical company and in his previous role as Sales and Marketing Director he oversaw the team that developed  corporate relationships with the a national hospital group and a major food manufacturer. Over the last three years, collectively these three corporate accounts have resulted in GEM and heat recovery sales totaling approximately $8 million at 54 different customer sites in 16 different countries.

Mr. Webb has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the fluid, steam and valve industry and track record of successfully taking industrial, steam related products to market and developing distributor channels in Europe, Japan and North America.
