      First Point Appoints Rob Robertson Vice President Corporate
      Development

First Point Minerals Corp. (FPX-TSX.V) ("First Point" or the "Company")
is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Rob A. Robertson as Vice
President Corporate Development, effective March 7th. Mr. Robertson has
a B.SC. in geology,  nine years mineral exploration and mining
experience, and twelve years with the Northern Miner providing
editorial coverage. Mr. Robertson brings a very strong knowledge of the
mining industry and financial markets. He has travelled widely to
provide detailed coverage of producing mines and new exploration
discoveries for the Northern Miner.  Mr. Robertson will assist First
Point greatly with corporate communications, in the Company's
international search for their additional nickel alloy properties, and
related activities.
