Brigadier Gold (TSX-V: BRG) Begins
Follow-Up Drilling at Larder Lake
Project
First quarter 2007 drilling intersected up to 5.31 g/t gold
in Albert Kokotow Zone
The drill
program is designed to vertically and laterally extend intersections in holes
B-07-04 and B-07-05 drilled in the first quarter of this year as part of a 900
metre drill program. Hole B-07-04 intersected 5.31 g/t gold over a 2.35 metre
length from 31.35 metres to 33.7 metres, and hole B-07-05 cut 2.79 g/t gold
over 8.3 metres from 82.5 metres to 90.8 metres, including 5.11 g/t over 1.5
metres. Drilling in the Albert Kokotow Zone during 2002 intersected 3.4 g/t
gold over 5.0 metres, including 6.7 g/t gold over 2.0 metres. In the M-Island
Zone, located to the northeast of the Albert Kokotow Zone, drilling has
returned up to 18.9 g/t gold.
In preparation
for this drilling the Company completed a program of surface exploration, which
included stripping, channel sampling and grab sampling in June of this year.
The significant assays from this work were obtained from the Albert Kokotow
zone where one grab sample of syenite returned 6.34 g/t gold.
