RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) _ Black Hills Corp. (BKH) on Tuesday reported a third-quarter loss of $9.9 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Rapid City, South Dakota-based company said it had a loss of 22 cents. Earnings, adjusted for asset impairment costs and non-recurring costs, came to 64 cents per share.
The energy company posted revenue of $272.1 million in the period.
Black Hills expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.90 to $3.10 per share.
Black Hills shares have dropped 13 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $46.38, a decrease of 15 percent in the last 12 months.
