CHANGE OF DIRECTION AT INTERNATIONAL
MILLENNIUM CONTINUES WITH TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS

Vancouver, B.C. - International Millennium Mining Corp. ("IMMC" or the
"Company") (TSX-V: IMI), announces the appointment of Mr. James
Johnstone, Dr. James M. Patterson, and Mr. David Straw to the Company's
newly established Technical Advisory Committee. The Committee has
been established to further the Company's objective to become a purpose-built,
junior mineral exploration/development mining company focused on acquiring
known small mine deposits world-wide.
As the Company works to
identify known deposits at the advanced exploration to mining stage with a
view to advancing them through to production or improved production, it is
privileged to be served by these three distinguished and experienced
advisors to assist its own seasoned management team to identify and quickly
assess a variety of potentially advantageous mining projects. The Committee
will advise management and make recommendation to the Board of
Directors.
Mr. James (Jim)
Johnstone B.Sc., ARCST, P.Eng (Ontario)(Rtd)
Jim Johnstone is a graduate mining engineer with extensive international
mining industry operating and engineering experience, as a General Manager
and Vice-President Operations. His experience includes both open-pit
and underground mining projects, producing gold, base metals and industrial
minerals. Mr. Johnstone also has experience as a member of several
Boards of Directors, both corporate and private, and he presently continues
to serve on the Board of Caledonia Mining Corporation where he was formerly
Vice President Operations and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Johnstone
offers the Committee a wealth of practical mining operations expertise.
Dr. James M.
Patterson, BA (Hons), Ph.D., DIC, P.Geo
Jim Patterson was Vice President, Exploration of FNX Mining Company Inc. of
Toronto, Ontario, from April 2002 to May 2005, and continued as their
Executive Consultant for several years. He also serves on IMMC's
Board and on the board of several other public companies. Dr.
Patterson, as a mineral industry professional, has extensive experience
with major and junior exploration companies, international aid agencies,
government surveys and consultant groups in Canada, Ireland, SE Asia and
South America. He brings to the Committee solid, executive level understanding
of mineral exploration, mining development, funding generation and
environmental management.
Mr. David J.
Straw, B.Sc., B.Com., MBA
David Straw is a senior mining manager and geologist, with over 50 years
experience in all phases of mineral exploration, project development, joint
ventures, mine development, production, valuation and finance across most
commodities including silver, gold, tin, tungsten, base metals, iron ore,
mineral sands, uranium and coal. He has wide experience with
companies, governments and individuals and has an intimate knowledge of all
levels of corporate administration. Mr. Straw has global experience
on five continents. He has served as Chief Geologist of Canadian
Johns-Manville Company Ltd, Vice President Exploration and Corporate
Development of Inco Australia
and Inco Indonesia, and
General Manager Corporate Development Mount Isa Mines (MIM) Limited.
Mr. Straw is currently a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and
Metallurgy (CIMM), and is a previous winner of the CIMM President's Gold
Medal. He is presently principle of Davcha Resources Canada Ltd.
