DENVER (AP) _ Cimarex Energy Co. (XEC) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $75.8 million.
On a per-share basis, the Denver-based company said it had net income of 86 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 87 cents per share.
The oil and natural gas company posted revenue of $538.6 million in the period, falling short of Street forecasts. Analysts expected $551.6 million, according to Zacks.
For the year, the company reported profit of $507.2 million, or $5.78 per share. Revenue was reported as $2.42 billion.
Cimarex shares have risen 6 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 3 percent in the last 12 months.
