VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 23, 2013) - As a result of a review by the British Columbia Securities Commission, Bellhaven Copper & Gold Inc. (News - Market indicators) ("Bellhaven" or the "Company") is issuing the following news release to clarify its disclosure:

The Company has removed the Fraser Mackenzie research report dated April 27, 2012 from the Company's website as it discloses various gold quantity ranges in excess of the Company's current resource estimates. The Company is unable to support the excess disclosed ranges and retracts its disclosure of such gold quantity ranges as being not in compliance with National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101") in that it failed to include grade ranges, failed to discuss the basis for such estimates and did not include the cautionary language required by NI 43-101.

The current La Mina inferred resource estimate is shown on the table below, as reported in the NI 43-101 Technical Report entitled "La Mina Gold-Copper Project" and dated August 15, 2012, as filed on SEDAR.
