We are pleased to announce the completion of the NovaCopper spinout. Normal trading has begun under the symbol NCQ on the TSX and NYSE-AMEX exchanges.
This is an exciting milestone for NovaGold and its shareholders. The NovaCopper spinout was initially announced in November 2012. NovaGold shareholders overwhelmingly voted in favour of the special resolution approving the NovaCopper spinout in March 2012.
If you were a NovaGold shareholder as of Friday, March 27, 2012, you have received or will receive one NovaCopper share for every six NovaGold shares owned. Shareholders entitled to receive NovaCopper shares will receive a book-entry account statement or share certificate reflecting their ownership of NovaCopper shares, or their brokerage account will be credited with the shares.
