With construction progressing at the Tulsequah Chief Project site, I am pleased to provide this update showing recent developments on site.  As mentioned in our press releases and annual report, construction actives to date have been focused on building site roads leading from the barge landing area to the Tulsequah Chief and Big Bull mine sites.  As of today, approximately seven kilometers of road have been constructed with anticipated completion scheduled for the fall of 2008.  When completed, the total length of road will be over 20 kilometers. 

The Shazah airstrip is now active and receiving aircrafts.  Already hundreds of flights have come in to the Shazah airstrip, transporting staff and supplies to the Project site.  Flights originate from of Atlin or Whitehorse with aircrafts being supplied by local contractors. 

Last week we launched, in accordance with Department of Fisheries and Oceans Guidelines, a 42 meter long bridge across Shazah Creek.  

As we move forward with development on site, construction activities will continue to focus on the completion of the mine road linking key infrastructure, mine site preparation, mobilization and construction of the permanent camp, construction of the mill building, and the beginning of underground development.  At the peak of construction over 300 workers will be on site.
