Crude oil futures settle the day at $62.34/BBL

The price of crude oil futures are settling the day at $62.34 to end the week.

That is up $1.15 or 1.88% on the day. The high reached $62.54. The low extended to $61.08.

The price shot higher midday, away from the 200 hour MA (green line in the chart below) and the 100 day MA (see earlier post).

Last week, the contract settled at $62.04.

The low for the week moved $60.11 on Wednesday The high for the week was today's high at $62.54.
