DMGT announces that, in accordance with paragraph DTR 3.1.3 of the Disclosure
and Transparency Rules, it has been informed by the directors of Rothermere
Investments Limited that they have pledged 2,500,000 A Ordinary Non-Voting
shares, which are held for the benefit of Lord Rothermere, as security. The
transaction took place on 3 June in Jersey.
