Kazakhstan-focused gold exploration company Central Asia Resources (CVR) drilling program has resulted in the discovery of a new gold zone and
confirmed extensions to the mineralisation along strike and at depth in zone #3 at the Altyntas gold prospect.
The latest drilling at Zone #3 - which was identified by extensional drilling in September last year – has now traced the mineralization with Diamond drill holes
for over 720 metres in strike length. It is open at depth and along strike with the deepest gold interval intercepted at 280 metres down hole.
The new discovery – Zone #5 – has been intersected over a strike length of 200 metres, and is open at depth and along strike.
Central Asia Resources Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Jason Stirbinskis said "The results from the company’s most recent drilling program were very encouraging as it confirmed the prospect had
further gold mineralisation along strike and at depth. In addition, the identification of new areas of gold mineralisation at the Altyntas gold prospect highlights the potential for large tonnage deposits,"
Mr Stirbinskis said, "We remain focused on an aggressive drilling program at Altyntas prospect with the focus on announcing a maiden JORC resource estimate this quarter."
