Drill Mobilized To Copper Ridge's Joss'Alun Copper Project
=======================================================================
Vancouver, BC, September 9, 2008 -- Copper Ridge Explorations Inc.
("Copper Ridge" or the "Company") announces that a drill has been
mobilized to its Joss'alun property, 80 km southeast of Atlin, B.C. The
drill program will test extensions to the original Joss'alun showing
area as well as targets identified during a recently completed
exploration program which included geochemical soil sampling and an
Induced Polarization (IP) geophysical survey over the area of Box Lake
showing on the adjacent Nak property, owned by Imperial Metals
Corp.(TSX: III). The Box Lake showing lies some 2.0 km to the
east-southeast of the original Joss'alun discovery. Both the Joss'alun
and Nak properties are under option to Lomiko Resources Inc. (TSX-V:
LMR) and are known collectively as the Big Nak project, covering a
total area of about 3,232 ha. Lomiko is funding the project and Copper
Ridge is operator.
The initial Joss'alun copper discovery in 2002 was made by geologists
from the BC Geological Survey. Claim staking and subsequent exploration
programs by Copper Ridge and Imperial Metals led to a further three
copper showings being discovered. The geological setting at Big Nak and
the observed mineralization suggests a classic environment for seafloor
volcanic massive sulphide (VMS) copper mineralization with accompanying
footwall stringer mineralization and alteration.
In 2003 a program of mapping, geochemical soil sampling and prospecting
was carried out at Joss'alun by Imperial Metals followed by a core
drilling program (9 NQ core holes for a total of 1,517 m). The
following is a summary of significant drill results from the Joss'alun
drilling which encountered semi-massive and stockwork sulphide
mineralization. A subsequent IP survey showed a correlation between
chargeability and the copper mineralized intervals.

The 2008 drill program will target both the Joss'alun and Box Lake
showing areas, with targets being defined by geological mapping,
geochemical soil sampling and IP surveys. At both Joss'alun and Box
Lake, drilling will focus on copper soil anomalies coincident with IP
chargeability anomalies that occur within favourable volcanic
stratigraphy.
Earlier in the year, Aeroquest International Advanced Airborne
Geophysics completed an electromagnetic and magnetic airborne
geophysical survey covering the Big Nak project area. The survey
confirmed the Joss'alun and Box Lake showings are located along the
same stratigraphic horizon and the target horizon extends beyond the
limits of the survey to the west-northwest and east-southeast.
Mr. J. Greg Dawson, P.Geo., Vice President of Exploration for Copper
Ridge, is the Qualified Person at the Joss'alun Project for Copper
Ridge and is responsible for the technical content of this news
release.
Copper Ridge's exploration philosophy focuses on maximizing the
potential for success in a high-risk business. With grass roots mineral
exploration, where the entry cost is low but the potential reward can
be very high, success will be contingent on exploration skill and on
carefully managed risk. Our management team brings tenacity, technical
skill and experience, all crucial ingredients for discovery. By
exploring a broad array of projects, focusing on the right commodities,
in areas of high mineral potential and in mining-friendly jurisdictions
and by sharing the risks on some projects with joint venture partners,
the Company is exposing its shareholders to a greater chance for
discovery.
