NEWS RELEASE
Drilling Starts on Step-Out Hole at South Bay Project,
Red Lake, NW Ontario
Drilling Identifies Additional Massive Sulphides
in Discovery Hole
Vancouver, BC – Skyharbour Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:
SYH) (the “Company”) announces that further
volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralization has been identified in its
previously announced SB08-4 discovery hole located approximately 500 metres
to the southwest of the former South Bay Mine, 80 km east-northeast of Red
Lake, Northwestern Ontario.
In
addition to the previously reported copper-zinc intercept in hole SB08-4 by
News Release April 3, 2008, a second smaller zone of zinc rich exhalite was
encountered 30 metres deeper in the hole at approx. 400 metres. The second
zone was intersected over a core length of 2 metres. This may suggest
multiple or stacked mineralized horizons, a common feature of VMS deposits.
A second hole
(SB08-5) on this same Titan 24 target has now started. The second hole is
collared 100 metres north of discovery hole SB08-4 towards the former South
Bay Mine shaft and is being drilled in the same direction and with the same
dip as hole SB08-4. The step out of 100 metres is deemed reasonable given the
continuity of the geology and Titan 24 geophysical response.
