Andrew Carter, President of Tinka Resources:
The
assay results from CDD6 are very encouraging as they support the
mineralization previously intersected in CDD4. Hole
CDD6, averaging 83 g/t silver between surface and 66m depth, is a significant intersection and includes all 33 samples
with no cut off grade applied. Five samples fell below the 30 g/t cut off
grade with values ranging between 10 g/t silver and 23 g/t silver. Future
drill holes will test down dip from CDD4 and along strike. The drilling
progress is satisfactory and the contractor is currently drilling hole 10.

Press Release for August 28,
2007
Dear Friends:
In previous commentaries about Colquipucro we drew attention to the potential
for a bulk mineable silver project at this project and emphasized how sought after such
a discovery is for silver miners. Today we
want to point to the fact that this latest hole (Hole CDD6) is mineralized
right from surface -- and extends to a very significant depth where it is still open. Not only that but we also have some very impressive
silver grades over that 66
metre length. We are most impressed by the results
from Hole CDD6
especially when combined with the results
from previous Drill Hole CDD4, (10m Grading 625 G/T Silver and 28m Grading
105 G/T Silver Including 1003 g/t over 6 metres). It is also important to note these two holes are along the same line
(CDD6 is up dip from CDD4), making these results even more significant. With
todays
announcement we certainly have further strong support for the bulk-mining
theory at Colquipucro now from surface to a significant depth. Very, very encouraging!!! Stay tuned for other
important announcements from the ongoing drill program.
Regards,
Nick L. Nicolaas
