Eastcoal Inc. Commissions Construction Of Coal Washing Plant

Vancouver, Canada - EastCoal Inc. (TSX-V: ECX)(the "Company") is pleased to announce that it is commissioning the supply and installation of a coal washing plant for its Verticalnaya North Project ("VNP").

The natural medium barrel wash plant will be capable of processing 400 tph of throughput up to 150mm particle size, utilizing 0.5mm grade wire screening. The natural medium (water and raw material) plant is the most cost-effective method of processing easily separated coals. Using four types of separating equipment - barrel, cyclones, dewatering screens and sieve bands -- the natural medium washing plant has a low capital cost, low running cost and is highly efficient. Construction time quoted is approximately 40 weeks.
