SAGUENAY, QUEBEC - (April 30, 2008) - The management of
Arianne Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DAR) ("Arianne") is pleased to announce the sampling results from a stockwerk zone linking two gold and silver bearing veins from the El Rey property in Mexico. The continuous sampling of this zone returned an average of 1.07 g/t Au and 13.95 g/t Ag along a 40-meter strike. Intervals of 2.01 g/t Au and 6.36 g/t Ag on 14 metres as well as 3.25 g/t Au and 100.67 g/t Ag on 3 metres are also included along this strike. Fire assays were used to measure the grades followed by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry at Mineraleslab from Mazatln, Mexico (
http://www.mineraleslab.com).
It is reported in Mexican archives that samples from quartz veins from Los Copales and Los Cuates, that borders that stockwerk zone (see maps:
http://arianne-inc.com/fichiers/Plan_El_Rey_1.pdf and
http://arianne-inc.com/fichiers/Sections_AA_et_BB.pdf), respectively returned grades up to 9.00 g/t Au and 300.00 g/t Ag on 1.20 metre as well as 42.00 g/t Au and 166.00 g/t Ag on 1 metre. These grades do not comply with NI 43-101 and should not be relied upon.
Two other zones located West of the Los Cuates vein and previously sampled by Arianne in February 2008, returned grades of 1.41 g/t Au and 70.43 g/t Ag on 7 metres at surface as well as 4.84 g/t Au and 33.25 g/t Ag on 4.00 metres at surface.
The acquisition of the El Rey and San Jose properties, in Mexico, were previously announced by Arianne on May 10, 2007. A reconnaissance sampling was then performed by the Company on the El Rey property and the assays returned grades of up to 49.5 g/t Au and 1,805 g/t Ag on chosen samples. These results, as well as those obtained during the current campaign, seem to confirm the historical high grades found on this property.
Magnetic-type geophysics and Induced Polarisation surveys were just completed on the property. Results from these surveys are not yet available. Geological maping and sampling are currently underway and a follow up on potential anomalies is planned. The compilation of all this new data will be used to plan a drilling program in the start of Fall 2008.
The goal of these works is to evaluate the economical potential of this Low Sulphidation Au-Ag Epithermal Deposit. The easy access to this property and the proximity of the infrastructure will facilitate the evaluation process. This type of deposit is usually exploitable by Heap Leaching in its oxidized part. When appropriate, this type of exploitation can be relatively cheap.
