CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 9, 2012) - Molopo Energy Limited ("Molopo") (News - Market indicators) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Cindy Gray as Molopo's Vice President, Capital Markets effective 27 August 2012. 

Ms. Gray will be based in Molopo's Canadian corporate office in Calgary as a key member of CEO and Managing Director Tim Granger's leadership team. As well as maintaining investor relations with Australian shareholders, Ms. Gray will be responsible for expanding shareholder and key stakeholder relations in North America. Molopo remains committed to effective, meaningful and transparent communications with all shareholders and other stakeholders globally.

In her previous role as Head, Business Development - Global Energy for the Toronto Stock Exchange/TSX Venture Exchange, Cindy provided advice and assistance to global oil & gas and energy services firms regarding new listings on the TSX. Prior to working with the TSX, Cindy led the Investor Relations team for a multi-billion dollar TSX/NYSE listed oil & gas company, Harvest Energy and before that, PrimeWest EnergyTrust. Cindy holds an MBA from the University of Calgary.

The Company thanks Dr. Joanna Hughes for her role in establishing the current strategic direction of Molopo and leading the Company's Investor Relations efforts over the past year.
