| Forsys Closes $2.4 Million Private Placement | |

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct 29, 2014) - Forsys Metals Corp. (FSY.TO)(F2T.F)(FSY.TO) ("Forsys" or the "Company") today reported that it has closed its previously announced non-brokered private placement by issuing 9,420,000 units at $0.25 per unit for gross proceeds of $2,355,000 (CDN). Each unit consists of one Class A Common Share ("Common Share") and one half of one Common Share purchase warrant that entitles the holder to acquire a new Common Share in Forsys at a price of $0.35 expiring on 27 October 2016. All securities issued through the private placement are subject to a four-month and one-day hold period from the date of the closing. There were no finders' fees payable on the private placement. Proceeds from the private placement will be used to fund the completion of the Company's previously announced Feasibility Study for the Norasa Uranium project in Namibia as well as for general working capital purposes.
