As of 4.30 PM, Encore Wire Corporation (NASDAQ: WIRE) is the biggest gainer. The stock is up more than 8 percent, recuperating some of the ground lost during the day. Shares of Encore fell 13.24 percent on Friday trading, after the company missed revenues estimates for its second quarter on Thursday evening. Earnings came in at $0.54 per share, ahead of the Street’s consensus of $0.45 per share, but revenue came in below the $272 million estimate, at $253.75 million. On the other hand, the biggest loser is small-cap aero communications service provider Gogo Inc (NASDAQ: GOGO). The stock fell 4.4 during the day, and continued to tumble, more than 6 percent to $17.30, after the bell. The fall came after the stock surged on Thursday, on unconfirmed market chatter about T-Mobile US Inc (NYSE: TMUS) having taken a 20 percent stake in the inflight Internet company. In the New York Stock Exchange, independent energy company Bill Barrett Corporation (NYSE: BBG) is surging the most. The stock is up more than 6 percent in after-hours, after plummeting 10.35 percent during the day. The fall came after the company reported that it is providing updated data on certain commodity prices for the second quarter. Back to the Nasdaq exchange, Caesars Entertainment Corp (NASDAQ: CZR) seems to be managing to recuperate the 30 cents lost during the day, after an unfavorable court ruling put it on the brink of bankruptcy. Since the bell rang, the stock is up more than 6.8 percent as investors digest the news. See more from Benzinga © 2015 Benzinga.com. Benzinga does not provide investment advice. All rights reserved.
