FURTHER EXPLORATION SUCCESS AT WOGGAGINNA

KEY POINTS

Excellent iron intersections from step-out RC drilling at Wishbone prospect, including:

                        32m @ 58.8% Fe from 8m depth and 28m @ 59.6% Fe from 50m depth (WRKRC380),

                        36m @ 60.4% Fe from 14m depth (WRKRC393),

                        26m @ 58.1% Fe from 6m depth (WRKRC369), and

                        26m @ 57.6% Fe from 20m depth (WRKRC372)

Intersection of 36m @ 60.4% Fe demonstrates open ended potential to north of Wishbone

Results warrant a further intensive phase of RC drilling to define limits to mineralisation

Pilbara explorer, Warwick Resources Limited (ASX:WRK) today announced excellent iron results from Phase 3 RC drilling at Wishbone prospect on its 100% owned Woggaginna iron ore project near Newman.

Woggaginna is located 55km southeast of Newman and 35km south of BHP Billiton's Jimblebar iron ore mine and railway (Figure 1).

This follows outstanding results from the first two phases of drilling at Wishbone (refer to ASX announcements dated 11 February 2009 and 21 May 2009). This drilling typically encountered broad, near surface intervals of high grade hematite-goethite mineralisation with low to moderate levels of contaminants, developed over a 2.7km long, steeply dipping sequence of banded iron formation (BIF).

Significantly, the latest drill results demonstrate that iron enrichment in the southern half of the prospect is more extensive than previously thought, with mineralisation developed to over 70m vertical depth and 80m horizontal width and yet to be closed off.

In addition, the intersection of 36m @ 60.4% Fe in drill hole WRKRC393 has highlighted open ended mineral potential in the northwest sector of the prospect, where mapping recently identified an additional 700m strike length of outcropping iron enrichment (refer to Figure 3 and ASX announcement of 17 June 2009).

Warwick Resources Managing Director Bruce McQuitty said the drill results continued to underline the potential for Woggaginna to become one of the Company's most significant DSO projects.

"We are very pleased with these results. Woggaginna is showing excellent potential for near surface, direct shipping grade iron ore. With growing confidence based on three successful drilling programmes we are now planning an intensive drill programme to test the limits of the mineralisation", Mr McQuitty said.

The Phase 3 RC drilling programme comprised 28 RC drill holes for 2,462m. Results of the drilling are summarised in Table 1, Table 2 and Figure 3.

The Company recently announced the launch of an aggressive drilling campaign on its iron projects which aims to build a substantial direct shipping ore (DSO) resource inventory over the next six months. As part of this campaign a 2,400m RC drilling programme commenced at Western Creek earlier this week and will be followed by a resource drillout at Wishbone, scheduled to commence towards the end of August.

[1] Warwick has not yet reported Mineral Resources at Woggaginna, Western Creek or Jigalong and any discussion in relation to targets and Mineral Resources is conceptual in nature. There has been insufficient exploration to define a Mineral Resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the determination of a Mineral Resource.

RC drill samples were collected as 2m riffle split samples. All samples were analysed by X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometry (XRF). Loss on Ignition (LOI) values were determined using Thermo-Gravimetric Analyses at 1000oC. Results are reported on a dry sample basis. Intersections have been calculated using 55% Fe lower cut-off grade and a maximum of 2 consecutive metres of internal dilution. Only intersections >2m width have been chosen for inclusion in this report. Drill holes WRKRC377, 381-385, 388 and 395 contained no values above 55% Fe. True widths are estimated to be between 70% and 100% of downhole widths.

Competent Person Statement

The information in this report to which this statement is attached that relates to Exploration Results, Mineral Resources or Ore Reserves is based on information compiled by Mr Bruce McQuitty, who is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists. Mr McQuitty is a full-time employee of the Company and has sufficient experience which is relevant to the style of mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration and to the activity they are undertaking to qualify as a Competent Person as defined in the 2004 Edition of the 'Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves'. Mr McQuitty consents to the inclusion in this report of the matters based on his information in the form and context in which it appears.

Forward Looking and Exploration Target Statements

Some statements in this announcement regarding future events are forward-looking statements. They involve risk and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ from estimated results. Forward-looking statements include, but are not limited to, statements concerning the Company's exploration programme, outlook, target sizes, resource and mineralised material estimates. They include statements preceded by words such as "potential", "target", "scheduled", "planned", "estimate", "possible", "future", "prospective" and similar expressions. The terms "Direct Shipping Ore (DSO)", "Target" and "Exploration Target", where used in this announcement, should not be misunderstood or misconstrued as an estimate of Mineral Resources and Reserves as defined by the JORC Code (2004), and therefore the terms have not been used in this context. Exploration Targets are conceptual in nature and it is uncertain if further exploration or feasibility study will result in the determination of a Mineral Resource or Reserve.
