Shareholder meeting requisitioned

Resource Generation Limited has received a requisition for a general meeting to be held from Shinto Torii Inc, a shareholder with a 10.7% holding. Shinto Torii Inc is a subsidiary of Altius Investment Holdings (Pty) Limited and requests resolutions that remove all four of the existing directors and appoint the following directors: Mr Lulamile Xate, Dr Konji Sebati, Mr Robert Croll, Mr Leepeestswe Molotsane, Mr Denis Gately and Mr Colin Gilligan. The Company has yet to receive the Consents to Act from these individuals.

The Company is aware of its obligations under the Corporations Act and will arrange for the meeting to be held in due course. A Notice of Meeting and Explanatory Statement will be despatched as soon as practicable. The Company also intends to defer the Annual General Meeting scheduled for 4 November 2015 to a later date in November so both meetings can be held on the same day.

Resource Generation is developing the Boikarabelo coal mine in the Waterberg region of South Africa, which accounts for 40% of the country's remaining coal resources. There are probable reserves of 744.8 million tonnes* of coal on 35% of the tenements under the company's control (refer ASX announcement dated 16 December 2010). Stage 1 of the mine development targets saleable coal production of 6 million tonnes per annum.
