GINDALBIE APPOINTS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER FORMER PwC EXECUTIVE JOINS THE GINDALBIE TEAM
Gindalbie Metals Limited (ASX: GBG - 'Gindalbie') is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Chris Stevens as Business Development Manager, and due to the passing of Mr Michael O'Neill, Mr Stevens will assume the role of Acting CEO effective from 23 November 2015 for an initial six month contract.
Mr Stevens is an experienced mineral economist and resources professional, he was most recently employed as WA Mining Consulting Leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Perth. Prior to joining PwC, Mr Stevens held senior roles in the mining industry including General Manager- Commercial at Asia Iron and Commercial Manager at Gindalbie Metals.
At PwC, Mr Stevens has worked on strategic business development reviews for a number of ASX listed mining and energy companies and has led technical, commercial and financial due diligence work on iconic mining, energy, port and pipeline transactions.
He has over 18 years' experience working with Chinese companies as well as 7 years living full time in China working in commercial consulting and private equity. Chris is a fluent Chinese speaker and highly trained cross cultural communicator.
