Gold Drilling Programme Completed at Frances Furness

Brumby Resources Limited (ASX: BMY – “Brumby”) is pleased to advise that the second phase drilling programme at the Frances Furness Project, located near Southern Cross in Western Australia, was completed on 19 April 2008.

The Frances Furness Project is located within the prolific (5 million ounce) Southern Cross Greenstone Belt approximately 4 kilometres south of the operating Marvel Loch gold mine.

The recently completed programme, which comprised 11 holes for approximately 2,000 metres of Reverse Circulation drilling, was designed to follow up gold intersections obtained from the previous drilling campaign undertaken in 2007, which returned the following results:

·         3m @ 16.44g/t Au from 57m

1m @ 41.31g/t Au

·         20m @ 0.79g/t Au from 24m

3m @ 2.03g/t Au

·         51m @ 0.30g/t Au from 32m

      Inc

1m @ 1.65g/t Au

·         1m @ 9.14g/t Au from 42m

The current programme focused on the Salvation, Eric and Bohemia prospects within the Frances Furness tenement holding and, more specifically, on potential depth extensions to the previous results noted above.

All samples have been returned to Perth and submitted to the laboratory for analysis.
