MBMI Grants Stock Options

Vancouver, B.C., April 15, 2009 - MBMI RESOURCES INC. ("MBMI" or the "Company") (TSX V: MBR) is pleased to announce that, in accordance with the Company's Stock Option Plan, it has granted to certain directors, officers, employees, and consultants, incentive stock options to purchase up to an aggregate of 2,280,000 common shares exercisable on or before April 15, 2014 at a price of $0.10 per share.

MBMI Resources Inc. is a Canadian-based mining company focused on the exploration and development of nickel mineral properties in the Philippines. MBMI and its Philippine partners have an interest in nine nickel laterite projects in the Philippines, covering an area greater than 22,000 hectares. MBMI's objective is to become a major supplier of nickel products to primary industrial consumers in Asia.
